June 21st is celebrated as the International Music Day;not many people know this and not many celebrate it. Well as far the E&R department of Infosys is concerned, even a more trivial matter can mean a heart filling celebration. So is this day, which happened to be today(Well i started writing the blog on June21st,but added this line later).
The members of the E&R family ranging from the veterans(E&R trinity Sundar,Satheesha and Subraya) and even the most recent joinees(including me and my fellow trainee graduates joined in the celebration). I was fortunate enough to have been selected to anchor the show. We arranged the events in such a sequence that they hardly realised they were competing.
I received compilments from my colleagues for the programs as well as presentation. Its a good feeling when people appreciate what we do, right!!!

My dream GAADI
Hmm..well its actually still a dream..but one that can definitely materialise, sooner or later. But the question is that once I grow ready to have it materialised, would it still be in the market? Ok now, the dream.. its swift and sleek..very very sexy..and its a CAR...None other than the one and only Maruthi SWIFT!!!
Its my dream..I can keep on imagining myself sitting in it for hours, roaming with my friends in the car, taking my mom to the temple in it..blah blah blah..
So now I am employed, with a decent pay, and still why is it a dream? I t might be a risk. Car Loan from Infosys may keep me bound to the company for a very long time. And I dont want a dream to turn to nighmare by making my parents repay the loan if my plans for higher studies work out.
So I am left with the only option of waiting till I finalise my plans.
And the million dollar question?!! Once I finish my studies and come back to the Dream, will I be able to discover a 'Swift' anywhere in this nation?? Well trends in the car market changes so often that nothing is predictable. In that case I might start loving another swifter, sleeker and sexier car..But my pain of not being able to own a brand new, black coloured swift shall remain for ever!!!!

The foreigners!!!!
Being in Mysore Infosys, which is the training centre of Infosys, and that too in the Education and Research department has its own advantages. One of those is the frequent encounter with foreigners. Well, I used to see many of them hanging around with cameras and stuff in my home town also, but that is a whole different story altogether.
Now here they come for a different purpose or so they say. They come here and we train them in specific technologies. Some stay, some leave after the training.
There are a wide variety of 'them'. Chinese,Malayasians,Panamese,Japanese,Americans..each different and interesting. Chinese are quiet, glass eyed and extremely hardworking, Panamese are very active and smart, Malyasians are a beautiful bunch of people, Japanese are synonymous to dignity and respect and the Americans..hmm well most often in their own world.
Whatever, these different colours do add colour to this campus. Whereas handling a session for a foreign batch remains a sought after dream for me, the fear of handling such an inquisitive group of talents still gives me panic waves all over!!!!

The beginning...
The beginning..
I have never been an exceptional creative writer, nevertheless writing I have enjoyed way through.I stumbled upon this blogspot through a friend of mine and the instinct to join was sudden and abrupt.
As to what to write-the idea has not been clearly formulated yet..
But every endeavour needs a beginning and pray this be a noble one...
This is the beginning...
The vent is open and waiting for the stream of ideas to flow out....
